Modern Stripes Peony Bouquet Card

Hi folks! I’m back again today sharing a card I made to cheer up a good friend who’s been having a bit of a tough time lately. It’s a simple design but really modern and classy. This card was fairly quick to make, the hardest part was cutting out the stamped images.

To make this card, I stamped flowers and leaves from a few different Altenew stamp sets. I just love the gorgeous life-like look you can get from this peony stamp. The detail you can achieve from stamping with several shades in the same colour family is amazing!

Next, I masked off my card base with blue painters tape so that the place I wanted the stripes to be was the only part showing. Then I used My Favorite Things diagonal stripe background stamp and stamped with black ink. I fussy cut the stamped the flowers and stems and adhered to the card base with foam tape. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment and I was done!
