Love Birds Aperture Wedding Card

Once again I am using Lawn Fawn’s Happy Wedding stamp and die set to create this love bird wedding card. I just adore the cute birds and all the sweet wedding images like the cake, bouquet, and there’s even a blinging diamond ring.

Love Bird Aperture Card

This card was relatively simple to make except for creating the aperture. Since these are wafer thin dies, they will not cut through as many layers as the card front has, so you have to die cut them in several layers, so it does take a little time to line things up so the opening is in just the right place. The rest of the card was so fun to make! The images are small enough that the colouring goes pretty quickly and doesn’t require a lot of blending or anything too technical. I chose the colours based on the colours on the invitation (which were the same colours I used in my wedding!). In fact, I have already started on another version of this card for one of my best friends who’s getting married at the end of the summer.
